alright people, i been thinkin a long time about what my last post would be.
i figured i'd just talk about whatever comes to my mind
(sorry Rissa :(
This post isnt about anything specific....just whats on my mind
MY LIST OF THE BEST(in no specific order)
1.) To somehow meet everyone in the world. Until i experience everything I can about people and meet everyone i wont be satisfied. I'll have to get over that tho cause its impossible. I love seeing a new perspective.
2.)To sit everybody i've ever met down and tell them how i really feel/felt about them. I think that is really important to me.
3.) To bring back my Uncle B. Best person i ever met. They dont make em like him anymore :)
4.) For people to stop drawing conclusions about me. I dont reject anybody because i hate being rejected so dont be scared to talk to me. Dont think im phony because im not. Dont call me a tomboy or a girly girl because im not. STOP labeling me and judging me.
5.)To meet Kanye, Kid Cudi, and Ashton Kutcher. They are all so awesome and i would love to just chill with them for a day. Now that i think about it...this falls under #1. Did u know that Ashton has webbed toes? lol seriously he does
6.)To get a chance to be heard. To be important amongst a general crowd. Not on a highschool level. More like global. I mean, i dont wanna be famous....i just wanna do a hour long interview and have it broadcasted on every tv everywhere and somehow everybody actually watch it and like it...never gonna happen but excuse me for having dreams :D lol
7.)To become a best-selling author. Im going to have my first book written by age 16 and published by 18. You all better go buy it!!
8.)To have some type of super power.
9.)To drive around the whole USA. I love riding in the car more than anything. Nothing else compares. My first car is going to be a '57 Chevy flat-bed truck lol
10.)To be happy. I mean, genuinely happy. I dont think anybody is....yet.
11.) I swear i can never stop at 10 lol. To visit a prison and talk to inmates. Not as a counselor. More like as a friend coming to see a friend. Only difference is im visiting a total stranger. I wanna kno why their where their at now. I wanna help them become better people and get out. Be a friend. Like i said i dont discrimante what-so-ever.
Wow, when i reread this....i think i sound like a crazy person lmao. Im glad to know that on that list i dont see money anywhere tho....im genuinely unmaterialistic :)...i think

I still have to study gor three classes, take a shower, put some stuff on this girl ipod, and ironing me and my little brother's clothes
My mama had me waste about 2 hours makin carts on zumiez, Vans, circa, hot topic, and forever 21 webites and then she wouldnt even give me her credit card!!!
I dont understand people these days...keep makin me waste all my time maaaane!!!

Ok so progress reports just got mailed home like this weekend or whatever
and i had all a's
almost everybody at school who asked me what were my grades were
like shocked as hell by my answer
Y r u so surprised???
Do u really think im dumb???
freshman year isnt even hard....this shit is majority review anyway
But i dont kno y these kids think just because im goofy SOMETIMES and i get
put out of class from time to time..or day to day(wow this really is not helpin my point lol i dont get put out that much tho)
and like crack jokes that im stupid
Before i got to this school i had straight a's almost
every report card since pre-k!!
Speakin of gettin kicked out....why the hell do these teachers keepin givin me the boot???
Mercedes is not a bad kid!!!
One teacher kicked me out for spelling "fuck"
another for tellin a girl there was a bug on her back
another for talkin too much/too loud.....twice
and i think thats it but thats enough!!!

disclaimer....this is only my 51st post!!!
i kno on my last post i said that i was on my 53rd post but i was wrong
im on my 51st
the thingy was counting my drafts too...so when i deleted all my drafts the number went back down to how it was suppose to be
im still going to stop at my 55th post tho
it wouldnt kill me to write four more posts right??
So lets see....what am i going to talk about???
o ok, i kno
So i have this friend and we're gonna call her Kenya
she's just as sweet as pie
but....
she's so defenseless!!
I mean for instance, she had a bag of chips one day and these two beggers (i do not like beggers) kept asking her for her chips
she kept tryna tell them the bag was empty but they still were
like "no u're lying, gimme some chips, pleeeeeeeeaazzzz!!!"
so she turns the bag upside down to show them its empty
They immediately go from beggin mode to treatin mode
they started callin her dirty, and ghetto and sayin that they didnt want it anyway and that was probably the only food her poor ass ate in a week
im just like "???"
U're beggin her for her LAST and she's poor??
I wasnt there when it happened but this girl told me the story in full detail...
I kno sum people call me a pushover...
but i dont think i am...nobody "pushes me over"
it is true that im pretty nice at times to people at school but its not because someone is MAKING me do it...its just second nature to me
Like if i let a girl use one of my brand new lip glosses and they say that they like it usually i tell them they can have it...yea that last time i did that the lip gloss was six dollars but i didnt pay anything for it so what do i care (and no i didnt steal it lol)
im not a pushover for that...they didnt even ask for it...i just felt like giving to them...i feel like if you're nice to me why not be nice to you
and if you are honestly my friend i will do everything in my power to help u get what u want and if i have something u want and it doesnt hold much signifigance(sp) to me then why not give it to u...i dont even like lip gloss that much

I dont know why i named this blog that...my little bro has been singin that old ass song so its stuck in my head now
but....on to the point
You kno what im kinda tired of doing??

i've been doin it for like half a year now (or something like that) and i think im done...
im probably gone like stop at my 55th post (this is my 53rd)
honestly the only reason y i started was because my computer was buggin out one day and redirected me to this site when i was tryin to go to barnes and nobles website and i thought it was interesting...and the only reason why i kept going was because my friends thought it was kinda dope :)
when my friends started tellin me they liked it (i didnt even kno they were reading it) and were like randomly talkin about it during conversations....that made me happy :)
BTW...thanx to Marco, Nemo, Simpson, Willie, Marissa, Rell S., Dre, , Roy "idk how to keep my hands to myself" Daniels :), and Laramie for readin practically all my posts (even the dead ones lol) and to Paris, Dominique, Deja, Tim, Robin, Caisey, Jahy, Alejandro(Ally), Ribby, Walt, Rodrick, Shane, Naomi and everybody else who read a good amount of em
and to everybody else who read like one or two (too many names too list, majority of people who read my blog saw me post my url on like myspace or facebook or something and they read like a few of em)
now that i think about it i have alot more readers than i have followers...
well of course because none of my friends have a blogger but....
i'll prob come back every now and then and post something tho

I aint Ice Cube and today is not a good day
u ever have 1 one of those days when you're all like ahhh man, i wanna die???

today i woke up and felt like shit
my throat was fuckin killin me...the big dumb ass scratch on my back is like painful as hell(long story as to how i got that)...i felt week as hell because i couldnt keep my blood sugar up at all this weekend and i couldnt find my meter or meds!!!
Then when I got up and went to the bathroom my scarf was off my head and now my hair looks like a bird nest...and we're all out of my favorite toothpaste (listerine) and i had to use some crest or colgate shit!!
Imma stop complainin tho and gone head write this paper on the Dead Poet Society which i fell asleep on in class i cant even remember 1 scene...DAMN!...where's Kevin G. when u need them encouragin words!?!? lol

well it is the morning of 10.9.09
im removing nail polish from my fingers
i um...its rockstar day
i always thought the whole rockstar thing was lame so...
im wearin a cobra starship (one of my fave rock bands)tee,
yellowish goldish skinnies, white Ed Hardy watch (kinda rockish i guess), and Coach shoes (i kno its not rockish but i never wore em b4 so....)
but anyways backin up to yesterday...
i thought it was gone be my favorite day of this week and it sooooo was not
it was actually the worse...i mean even tho we had the pep or prep or whatever u call it rally i still wasnt really feelin it
the panther mascot had me lughin so hard (i think that was Ejaaz)
and when Chris came out with the Varsity football team of course we had to rep
how often do u see a freshie on varsity???
That morning i get kicked out of Math for spelling a curse word
I had to fuckin sit on the floor in the hallway doin nuthin lookin like a bum...
head laid back on the locker....
starin up at the ceilingg....
so i got up and went in another classroom...everybody in there
was doin their work so i found kno further entertainment
we started walkin to science 3rd period and one of my best friends
got really sad. My emotions are greatly influenced by the ones around me so when she was sad i got even more sad than i was prior to that
Then in science ms LAMA!!!!! was chewin my ass about talkin when i wasnt even talkin...she has it out for me man....she even told me one time she wouldnt teach me anymore...crazy.....lol and she tried to each my watch
i think thats it tho....aw naw and thanks to my bud Kevin G.!!!
I was like even sadder (if that was posssible) after Ms. Lama said some shit to me
and he saw me lookin super depressed and came with encouraging words and a hug...

Warren (once again dont read if u dont like my long posts)
B4 u start readin this read the one right b4 this one...otherwise u wont understand
ok.. i just wrote a long ass post about sports camp
(and me and my "attractions" lol)
and i just had to blog about Warren ass
Ok so like i said i was 10 back then
Warren was bout 16
So besides the football incident i swear Warren tried to kill me atleast 5 other times
and i mean that as literal as possible...but this one time really stuck out
We were swimming and i was at the shallow end gettin "swimmin lessons" (lol) from Tay
So Warren yells to me "Ay Mercedes come swim wit me" from the deep end
and i was like i cant swim
so he was like bring yo ass over here
so I went off and shit and Tay was like get the fuck out the pool
so we go back to doin what we were doin
...like 10 minutes later Tay left to go change back into his clothes
so i start walkin to the other side of the shallow end where my brother
was at (my real brother....yes he was there 2)
and he kept fuckin movin away from me
so i reached out to grab his arm and all of a sudden
I go under the water....im practically on the deep end
now and i cant get up!!
Somebody had grabbed my waist and pushed me all the way down to the
bottom of the pool!
I started panicing and inhaling the water and shit
so i was literally drowning!
So after a while they let me up and i got up so fast that i hit my head on
the gutter thing on the side of the pool and cut my forehead and it was bleedin like crazy
So im still recoverin from damn near drownin and now my head is finna fuckin explode from all the pain of that gash i had just gave myself
Of course i was cryin...
Once again Dre came to the rescue :)
He pulled me out the pool and carried me to the self serving nurse office
(its basically like a nurse office but no nurse, u use the supplies and fix up yourself)
and he cleaned up my forehead and put a gauze pad on it....
he finally got it 2 stop bleedin and he sat on the couch thingy with me til i stopped cryin...
which was about 30 mins lol
He told me how people can be assholes and how i shouldnt let em get to me and good shit like that
He said Warren was a special case tho and he would handle him for me and indeed he did
That was the last time Warren ever said anything to me
I dont think I've ever had a friend as good as Dre...EVER
Not b4 or after i met him
He's prob like 20 now but if i ever saw him again we'd prob be just as close as we were then
I heard he moved to Cali tho....that shit sucks :(

and some people who names idk or i forgot...
but anyways...
i cracked a joke and we all started bustin up or whatever....
so we're laughin and i was like "i love laughin"
and they started laughin more
then i was like "its fuckin great, better than sex man"
EVERYBODY stopped laughin lol

i felt like awkward as hell
....then out of nowhere they were laughin again lol

Thursday after school, two rival gangs got into a fight three blocks from the high school.
In all four students were beaten in that melee -- one was released from the hospital Friday morning.
While police continue their investigation, some students say they don't want to go back to Fenger next week.
Rival gang members have been fighting for a month -- and each time one of their fellow classmates is injured.
No knives and no guns were used in Thursday's fight. Just fists, feet and boards.
Derrion Albert, 16, was struck in the head by one of those boards.
Seconds later the honor student hit the pavement. That’s when witnesses, who are other high school students, say gangbangers began stomping on and punching Albert.
Derrion Albert's mom said witnesses told her he was "trying to help another student and kind of got mixed in with the crowd of the fight and he was hit.”
A senior who witnessed the whole thing says the melee lasted less than five minutes.
The video shows students and workers from a nearby community center rescue the boy -- but many out there knew it was too late.
Surveillance videos are mounted on businesses in the Roseland area, but Chicago Police say those don't show faces.
Police have a copy of this footage and it may help identify Albert's killers.
But while that investigation goes on, students say they will remember Derrion Albert as a good kid. A quiet, smart kid with no gang affiliation. But just a kid who may not have had enough street smarts to go another way.

then i did my wierd eyebrow/squinty eye thing that i do when im kinda confused
....he asked me what makes me write about my life and what im thinkin
even tho everybody else usually blogs about clothes, shoes,
music, etc,....shit like that
....no answer on my part
.... so then he asked "what makes u think people even wants to read about u...u're not famous or anything like that"
i was kinda offended but then i realized thats just the way he talks so i shook it off
...i thought 4 a minute
then i told him
"because if they want to read about clothes, shoes, music, etc. they can google it or watch tv, or go to the stores or someone else's blog or whatever but theres only one place they can find the life and times of Mercedes Briana Hall" plus i do actually write about music and ish sometimes

in no specific order. i kinda had this on my mind 4 a while so this is going to be the longest blog i've ever wrote. For that reason most of yall prob wont read it lol. but whatever im writin it anyway
1)when people look at me/talk to me like im seriously stupid. Before i came to the school im at now i was a straight A student. Plus i like to think i have alot of sense. Im far from stupid. Like just this week i didnt study for this test but i still aced it and this girl tells me i must have cheated. Thats some bullshit man. The test wasnt even hard. Just cause im a little goofy and get in trouble every now and then, that doesnt define my intellect. Im still a A/B student and plan on being straight A again by first quarter
2)when people knock me or my shit. If i say that i want a skateboard then thats just me. Dont comment. Period. If u think im dumb for it keep it to yourself. Idgaf if u like it. I cant please everybody. Personally i dont believe in make-up (well not the kind that covers up your uglies. Eye liner/mascara/eye shadow is cool but not all that foundation crap and what not)but if u wanna wear it by all means go right ahead. Do u. I wouldnt wear it unless it's a special occasion. Maybe i'll put on eyeliner one day tho. Thats just me
3)when people try to judge me or figure me out. U cant do either so dont try. I cant think of one person who i can say knows me and thats the truth. i have friends and even best friends but they dont really know me and i dont really "know" them. We just have fun 2gether. Dont read a post of mine and write me off as a certain thing cause i bet you're wrong. And when i say figure me out i mean like label me or tell me what i am. You can keep that shit
4)when people keep touchin me. I dont like 4 people who i dont kno like that (which is alot of people) to touch me. Rather it be hittin me, grabbin me, whatever...im not a fan of it. I mean people put they hand on my arm or my back and just leave it there and i'll be like "iight can u please move your hand"....or i'll just hit it off or somethin...hands 2 yourself plese lol...mad annoyin
5) when poeple dog other people while talkin to me. I tell my friends that they can talk to me about anything. ANYTHING. And i mean it. But when u start talkin about like random people for no good reason for the dumbest most irrelevant shit i just be like "????" Please explain to me why your hatin on them so much. I try my hardest not to talk about folks unless they give me a reason too. So if you're talkin to me and you call somebody a bitch because they walked passed u and didnt speak or sum dumb shit like that and you're serious. I probably wont listen
6)when commercials be like ultra long. i mean if the show is already only 30 minutes long y make the commercials 5 minutes long and they come on 3 times durin the show!!! That be those BET commercials lol
7)when people look down on me because of my age. Yes i realize im young. Born Jan.21.95. i kno that everybody is way older than me and all that shit but who cares. If i wouldnt have told u i was 14 we coulda been bestfriends but since i did tell u we're not??? usually follow at all

yesterday in my 8th period class ms. miller (shark lookin ass)
put me outta her class 3 TIMES!!!
because my shirt was untucked 3 TIMES lol

cause u see my "shirt tail"??
If u wonderin how i kept makin it back in the class
everytime its because like each time i left out
i didnt tuck it in i just rolled it under :)
and when u roll your shirt under it eventually falls down
that final time she put me out i actually tucked it in
bad enough we in unform
they should atleast let me where it my way

i dont feel like tuckin this shit in

Kid Cudi is really my fuckin guy...like i like him as a person as well as a rapper. I think G.O.O.D music has to be like the best label...Just wanted to say that Kid Cudi is officially one of my favorite rappers...
And as far as Kanye...well he's been a fave for years so people who know me knows that im like a huge K West fan....but they are the two that im really feelin now so yeah...

The other day i was on the phone with my bro's friend

and i slipped up and cursed on the phone
so he was like
"you curse?"
and i was like "from time to time"
and he was like "that is really unlady like, stop it"

So im not a lady cause i said damn????
But he's still a man and he says bitch??? in front of kids???
Yea but anyways....
I dont think cursing makes u any less of a man or a woman..its all
about who u curse at and where u're doin it
When it comes to cursing i dont think its that bad when i say

so i was thinkin like thats old plus Mariah already made a

I listened to it and laughed throught the whole thing lol

its like impossible for Mariah to make a song replying

....except maybe that he's gay lol

WOW!!!
Ok so i dont kno if you've been seeing this on the news or not
but in some cemetaries they're actually digging up bodies and throwing
the bones off some where, relining the caskets, and reselling em!!!
Like WTF!?!?!
How disrespectful can you get!!
Leave the damn dead people alone!!!
The one thing i don get though is dont you think people family
still visits and can notice that their love one's grave has been dug up??
everywhere there's nice grass and then when they get to a certain grave its
just a lump of dirt in the ground
the people who dig them up steal their jewelry and and clothes and whatever else you
bury them wih too
Truthfully when my mama told me that i didnt really care
cause it wasnt anyone i knew
atleast i thought it wasnt.......
they dug up my cousin's father and her auntie
i didnt really kno them cause they died around the time i was born
but my whole family were freakin HEATED
i dont kno what they're gonna do about it though

Homicidal Grandparents
So...um...i spent a night at my great grandma's house monday(7/6/09)
til today (7/8/09)
and it was kinda cool....my great grandparents are both 79 years old so i never kno when
there gonna kick the bucket so i try to visit as mush as possible
but anyways...marcelius (my little bro) came over there with me and we were sleepin in
the living room downstairs because he was too scared to sleep
upstairs in any of the bedrooms......yea he's a punk but ease up on the kid..he's just 8
....so we were downstairs watching George Lopez, Malcolm in the Middle, and the Bernie Mac show
(me on the couch, grandaddy in one chair, and celius in the other chair) then all of a sudden
my little brother started yellin like a sissy (bet u aint heard that word in years lol)
and climbin up the chair!
So im laughin my damn brains out and was like "what's wrong with you!?!? Get down off the chair like that you square!!!"
My grandaddy was so confused (bless his ol' elderly heart lol)
and marcelius started yellin "O my god, its a bug its a bug!! Cedes kill it" (if u dont kno Cedes is short for Mercedes: my name of course)
So i take my blind azz over there tryin to find it and i dont see a thing
haha :)
i wasnt lookin all that hard though
my grandaddy got up and went to get a flashlight...
came back 900 lightyears later (he moves really reeeaaallllyyy ssssssssslllllloooowwww lol)
and he flashed it...
didnt find it....
neither did i....
grandaddy left to go get the sucky thing thats kinda like a vaccum but its the long tube that u put on like crums and stuff and they get sucked up....yall no what im talkin bout
...so but anyways...meanwhile he gone to get that i grab the flshlight, i tell marcelius to shut the hell up with all that cryin (lol :) and i grab the flashlight and start lookin again
i found it...
it was a centipede (excuse my spelling, its summer vaca so i dont too much care)....
i told grandaddy to hurry up with the sucky thing
he took to long (remember he's sssssllllooowww lol)
and the damn creature got a way
we sucked up everything tryna find that damn bug!!!
but no luck......
marcelius slept on the couch with me cause he was to scared to sleep on the floor now lol
i jus couldnt say no.....
he was like "cedes i kno u're not gonna go to sleep on me right???" in the sweetest voice
i thought about it...
thought a little more....
thought a little bit longer...
"Hell yeah im goin to sleep on u" lol
five minutes later...
ZZZZzzzz..... lol

....woke up the next mornin and grandma had made skim milk with hard azz burnt cornbread floatin in it in a bowl lol..and some little things that looked like baby flies were in there too
i was thinkin what the hell has this world come too!?!
First they gone let big azz bugs eat us and now they tryna make us eat them!?!?
I called my mama to come get me from that mad house
five minutes later...
BEEEP BEEP!!...
she was blowin her horn outside
Now this is the crazy part
Just as i stepped foot out the door my grandma starts chokin on her shit cereal
and the bug falls in my grandaddy's hair!!!!
OMFGTTFT(oh my fuqin god times three fuqin thousand) lmaooooooooooo
i didnt even go help them though cause some crazy shit was happenin in that house lol
Got in the car and was gone

The 4th of July
Happy 4th of July everybody
Funny that on independence day my mama decide to take all my god damn INDEPENDENCE!!!
LOL
But for real though...
Imma give a rundown of what i did today (if u dont care, dont read it :)
But anyways....
So i woke up this morning about 8:15 but i was still super sleepy so i
layed around til about 8:40 then i hopped in the shower and ironed my clothes
My mama was gone to get her hair done so i called her to ask her if
i could go with my brothers and cousins to Indiana today and she said no
i got over it
i got over it pretty quick actually cause i was expecting that really
but anyways....
me and my granny went back downtown to the apple store
(with an appointment this time)
they replace my ipod....i was happy
hella happy actually
got back home and........
ok well thats all i feel like typin so......lol......on that note....have a happy independo day
oh yea btw...my jerkin skills has gotten sick kid (i myself think so lol) :)
I think its safe to say im a jerk!!!!!
Yea but whatever....i been a jerk...yep a female jerk from the chi
ay by the time i make another post imma have a nickname

BET Awards..etc.
Jus finished watchin the BET awards (6/28/09)
and it was.........cool actually
i mean....i was kinda disappointed that they aint really have no hiphop performances
(they only had Jay-Z and Young Money)
but I love Drake and I loved Jay-Z performance so its all good i guess
You kno...i really didnt take M.J.'s death hard at all but while I was watchin
the awards i kinda felt like i should have
....i mean not because he shaped music or no shit like that(cause it aint like he did it his self)
but just cause he seemed like a down azz dude.... i dont kno too many of them...maybe none
but what im sayin is i have a new respect for M.J. and his music...even though it took for him to
die for me to get that (cause when he was alive i sho was crackin on his nose,his monkey lol, his "thing" for little boys, and all his crazy azz stunts)
but im still not ridin his dick like summa yall nigguhs is
when he was alive yall was treatin him but he die and all of a sudden

Day On The Town
So me and my friend Mary went downtown today to
go to the apple store and see about getting my 120 gb ipod fixed
(yep my baby got broken by people with butter fingers)
So anyway we get downtown and go into the apple store
OMFGTTFT(Oh my fuqin God times three fuqin thousand)!!!!!!!
It was like walkin into heaven lol
what a lozer, right? lol
but yeah...try to stay on topic
where was I......
oh yeah...heaven lol
So um...we went up to the guy and come to find out Mary didnt schedule
an appointment!!!
Im like "Mary everybody and they mama kno that in order for them to
fix your shit, or even attempt to, you need a fuqin reservation!!!!"
Then she's all like "o well, we're here now, lets check out the new macs!!!'
and she jus runs the hell away
im standin there lookin like "this crusty mother fuckah did not jus treat me!!" lol
so but anyways....we go to the second floor
Its friggin macs everywhere and man they put my computer to shame my nigguh
i was appalled (lol look at me usin big words, gettin my smarticles on)
At that moment all that mattered to me was those macs, my ipod was on hold
So yeah long story short this guy was explainin it to us and everything
and that only hyped me up more....
We left and went to zumiez and then hot topic....
we ditched eachother and i went home...
As soon as i walked in i was gawking (another pretty decent word lol) in my mother's face about that laptop
i want the Mac Book Pro that's 13 inches and $1,199 (not too bad..well kinda it is)
its one of the newest ones they have
so after explainin how bad i wanted it to her she said
that if i kept my grades up.....she'd get it for me!!!!
Me and my mom bump heads alot but when she said that she became my favorite
person in the world lol :) (thats kinda bogus, i kno lol)
but imma put in extra superdy duperdy work for this
wish me good luck!!!
